Where is the option for 0$ a month? 😂
I'd say you "make" whatever childcare would cost you at the very least.
@Apple1996
Ohh forgot that part
@matchrestore the daycare by my house is 17$ a hr. With 4 kids that'd be a lot lol
@Apple1996
True
we had to do 9 hours with drop-off and pickup commute... so 45 hours a week. there were two weeks out of the year that we didn't pay for, so 50 weeks... 2,250 hours... $38,250 per kid! We did not pay that much though. We paid ~$10,000 a year until preschool then $17,000 for that year. Looking forward to this year with kindergarten... down to $110 per week for after school care and transportation.
@matchrestore childcare is soo expensive! I can't even imagine having to pay that much. The 110 a week isn't too bad tho for a school aged kid
It was rough, especially the first few years. Luckily our salary increased at a rate that outpaced the increase in childcare costs.
No shit
I got you baby

there are 2 things you don't discuss with others, your paycheck and your sex life. also avoid at all cost people who brag about how much they make. The potential stress this can cause you in the rare or common case that they make a LOT more than you is not at all needed, why do you need it? You don't need to stress over that, stress it he beginning of everyone's problems. Instead focus on how much YOU make and always strive to LEARN more to MAKE more. always compete with your better self and progress that way not compared to OTHERS stressing yourself make you feel less because someone else made a better life faster and such, it really doesn't help it only further makes you step backward and we only need to more forward. Never compare yourself to others just always be better than yourself.

Thanks for that great reply. It's very true. A sister of mine always told a relative what she made. She did this so that the relative could ask ME what I made as well--and then report it back to her. I swear this is true--because that's how she operated --until my aunt died. She never found out how much I made, and I refuse to let her know even now that I'm retired. This is not the only thing she wants to compare: my life insurance, my pension amount, etc. I wish she wasn't so nosy.
I'm not to be rude but I feel this is an unreasonable question. It's personal. I don't tell anyone other than my immediate family how much I make. Everyone else can just wonder. They can think whatever they want. Just saying
@Tiptoetamm
no need to tell.
just wanted to see the graph
Surprising input, with 31% around that 2K - 3K per month. I work for the State and we probably are better paid than some. I used to work in Manufacturing and Aerospace, and, of course, that paid a lot more, but then again, that work is very Cyclical, as you probably know.
Well considering the state always makes sure to take care of itself first before the people which is why even when inflation and poverty are sky high State officials will always raise their salaries
Kelly,
In America 🇺🇸 we don't make it a habit of asking people personal questions like this. Because it's no one's business.
Just letting you know
$5783.33 gross pay per month, plus benefits including $174 in employer contribution to a SIMPLE IRA, health insurance, life insurance, and temporary disability insurance.
20% of people do not make more than 13,000 per month. People be lying.
I'm retired, so I'm living off my investments.
Mid to high end of your options, but it’s still fuck all around here
It’s no one else’s concern. Besides, a person can say anything on the internet. You have no way of knowing whether or not they’re being truthful.
Less. South Africa.
I wasn't making $500pcm when I closed my business in September - and that's a good income here
It depends on the client I'm working for, I offer a range of prices
No I'm not a sex work, I'm a free lance graphic designer, I do channel art, thumbnails etc
Not very representative if 29% self-identify as making over $150,000 a year… 🤔
My parents taught me a long time ago not to talk about money because they felt it was unsavoury, and I agree with them.
I do not want to disclose this information. The IRS might be on GaG/.
