What goes through your mind when staring at the stars at night?

I live on the 7th (the highest) floor, and during clear nights, I can see some satellites, rarely the ISS...

It depends on the night... sometimes I have random thoughts..., and sometimes, I have some fresh worries or problems to solve. Sometimes, I remember videos from the ISS or some NASA programs.

And sometimes I let my thoughts freely wander. I dream or imagine some things... I love stargazing...

I love laying out in my backyard during summer on a clear night just staring at the stars and thinking if there is an alternative universe where someone like me exists on another planet like earth and is doing the same things as I am or maybe she's totally opposite of who I am.

Normally it makes me feel kind of small and insignificant in the grand scheme of things and oddly that is comforting.

oh i can't see stars due to clouds and city lights. but i have a star app. but when i see pictures i realize how vast the galaxy is. wow. amazed feeling.
