I would share it with them, but I would have to really know that I could trust that person first. Knowing that what I tell them they won't gossip all over school about it or anywhere else. But yeah I would definitely tell someone if it helped them.

Keep it to myself. I don't share other people's secrets that they confide in me even with my wife. I take that confidentiality very seriously.

I'll share my own secrets quite liberally though. I'm not really sure if I have any secrets of my own. Yet it's an extremely important part of my personal ethics that I never share other people's secrets.
