Caught a college girl with a beerbelly checking me out. How common is that for girls to have?

I (34 M) started going to this Target on my way from work since last week to pickup some things I need at home or work. I've noticed that there are some college girls that go to this target as there is a university nearby.

Just the other day I was in the food aisle when these two young girls pass by and look at the cans of soup next to me. One of them seemed to have what seemed to be a straight up beerbelly. They seemed to be talking about their dorm rooms so they were definitely students. I don't think she was pregnant either because it just didn't seem like it. She was slightly overweight out but had a potbelly that really stuck out.

I later caught her checking me out while leaving the store which I thought was kinda funny because I do get mistaken for being in my mid-20s.

So I was thinking how common is this for girls on collage campuses?

Ok so I am getting my graduate degree so not living on campus but go during the week. I don’t see it that often with girls…or guys for that matter. That usually means that someone has been drinking for a good while to get that. Either that or drinking a lot. I also bartend to make ends meet and I don’t see that at the club I work at that much. So it is pretty rare for younger people. I don’t think it would be normal to see. You never know…she could be pregnant. That is another possibility. That shit happens unfortunately. People are careless.

First of all, thanks for answering back with such a well-written response. The other two answers were quite disappointing.

Second, I was inclined to think that she wasn't because of the way she was dressed. She look like she was going to go out and party. It took me a by surprise for a second seeing such a young woman in that state. That's why I was genuinely intrigued by the circumstance.

That being said, she seemed happy so I hope that girl a good life. Thank you again.

Seems to be geographic too as far as frequency. On campuses in D. C. I rarely see it. In the southern midatlantic moreso. In the central midwest it's one of the other, fit or huge, but not JUST a beer belly if she's big. In the SW I saw it a fair amount but I haven't been there in a decade, almost.

She could be pregnant but I have seen on women that belly but it’s rare, probably just eating junk food and that’s where it’s mostly going, sometimes the fat just goes there mostly because it goes to other places on the body, it’s not always beer
