It's just hiccups. It would get really fucking annoying, but I'd chance it. A billion dollars is more than life changing money. It's generational money that will set your family up for generations to come. I would do the flip even if the other half chance was I'm sick the rest of my life or I die.

Coin flip. Statistically on single coin flips you have a very very high chance the coin lands same side up. The whole 50/50 odds doesn't really apply until you are getting very high numbers of coin flips
