A "unicorn" is a rhinoceros with a single horn on it's nose. A rhinoceros with two horns is a "bicorn". Both are mentioned by their Latin name in the Vulgate which provided early translation to English of the Bible from Latin. Unfortunately, the Bible wasn't written in Latin. It was Aramaic, Hebrew and Greek. A translation of a translation rarely produces greater accuracy. Where the idea of a horse with a horn came from is anyone's guess.

As far as I know, they are. A couple years ago, I saw a video some guy was shooting in his office at work and he caught footage of a unircorn in the grass outside his window about 50' away. I'm pretty sure that was over in England.
