Q.1 When responding to a situation that is presented In front of you, how do you handle it with the love of christ? Q.2 How do you learn how not to take situations, discussions, personal experiences amd the opinions of others personal? Q.3 What is the cause of taking things to heart?

I'm not religious, but what helps me handle situations better is to think of the many reasons why a person might be the way they are & think of how I could have turned out exactly like them if I had their DNA & environmental influences. And then treat them how I'd want someone to treat me if I acted like them but was capable of changing my behavior.

What helps me not to take as many things personally is when I dethatch it from my identity. Like, when someone I know is acting weird one day, instead of getting highly emotional at that, I try to keep in mind that it's likely not me that's the cause of it. There's probably something else going on in their life that's bringing them down & causing them to act negatively towards me.

But even with all that said, there have been instances where someone had an issue with me specifically. And in cases like these, it can seem impossible to convince ourselves that we're not the cause of their behavioral changes. But, I still prefer to believe that I'm not entirely the cause. Maybe just their limited perception of me/who they think I am.

When I take things to heart, it's me putting a lot of value/importance in it. We do this probably for survival purposes. Because yk it's important to pay attention to threats & all. I imagine how easy it will be to change the feeling will even depend on the person. For me, it can be hard due to anxiety & other neurotic aspects. But for someone else, it may be easier. I imagine especially if they have greater levels of overall confidence in themselves & their ways of thought & action.

I noticed that it was really easy for me not to take some people's words to heart when I analyzed who they were & realized that they weren't admirable people to me. So I thought to myself "I shouldn't even be viewing them as highly as I should people that I actually respect & trust. Instead, I should consider their words & actions & consult with people I actually like to get their input." I believe that putting lower on the trust scale & any other scale related to their connection with us & our identities can be very beneficial.

Yes, you can ask God for guidance when it comes to relationships. No matter what one does to me, I don't take things to heart. I learn people will be people.

I handle thing in my own way, I don’t take things to heart, life is hard and you accept that. I definitely don’t need religion for that, friends to help yes, religion no.

You take things "to heart" when you give another person power over you. Someone who's opinion or actions aren't important or personal to us has no power to damage our self esteem.
