Problem solver in general because I hate asking for help lol I try to offer solutions to my gfs problems, but she usually just gets mad at me for it. She'd rather just complain/cry and not do anything to solve the problem

I'm most definitely the problem solver. To a fault at times. I always try to think "logically" and poke holes, point out things, and say what I would do/what you should. Learning to listen and sometimes understand they don't want a problem solver immediately is something I've been trying to get better at.

I hate asking for help, it's awkward and unnatural to me. I've tried to get better at it but I'm still really stubborn about it, got that from my dad.

I'm a compulsive problem solver. I cannot be exposed to any problem without tempting to fix it. I had a friend once tell me "I'm just venting and seeking validation, I don't want you to fix everything" after I fixed a few of her problems she stopped saying that.

Best thing I learned in therapy: ASK do you want me to listen or do you want me to solve problem? It stops ppll dead in their tracks to THINK about what and why they are saying. It literally saved some of my relationships.
