What was your favorite age growing up?

I had a great childhood. But I think my favorite period was between 16 and 26.
I got my driver's license and a car when I was 16. I got a girlfriend and lost my virginity at the same age.
From then on, life was amazing, especially after I graduated from high school. I was a surfer and skateboarder, played lots of sports and Frizbee with my friends, went to hundreds of rock concerts, was lead guitarist and vocalist in popular garage bands, went on lots of adventures and backpacking trips, and partied like a Viking with not a care in the world. I still lived at home and had part time jobs, so I had money. And I usually took a course or two per semester at community college. Even that was fun.

Then I got a really good corporate job when I was 26 and a half, had to cut my long hair and wear a suit. But that job turned out to be great. And I finally grew up.

Probably 15, because my Detroit Tigers won the 1968 World Series, largely because of right-handed pitcher Denny McLain, who was 80 Good Friday, Mar.29. McLain, then 24, went 31-6 to become MLB's most recent 30-game winner. (And almost surely the last because of today's five-man rotations rather than the four-man rotations of McLain's era, plus the near-disappearance of complete games as bullpens rule modern baseball;McLain, who pitched 336 innings in 1968, completed 28 of his 41 outings, all starts.)

Every year has been better than the last, starting about 14 years ago when I turned 20.

I think 15-16 was good, the challenge of getting into pubs, then getting served beers. It was great for parties and was before some left school for work, others went to college and some stayed on at 6th form.
Also as a guy I was playing Rugby, football, hockey, cricket, athletics and was building up long term life muscles and fitness.

the age of 9 to 10 was sort of the last years of innocence and you could do childish games etc.

18, when i met a girl that i've seen her just as a "fleshlight" but she was madly inlove with me, and now 23 years down the line my life is a mess, so if i could turn the time back and get back with her, i wouldn't make the same mistake twice...🤦‍♂️
