Skunk. When I smell it from a distance I don't think it's that bad. Maybe it's because I like the smell of weed.
I wouldn't want to get sprayed by a skunk, though. That's shit is strong.

We have a big, fluffy, indoor cat that got out one night. We called him and searched for him, but he stayed out for hours.
When he came home, he had obviously been sprayed by a skunk. I'm sure he thought it was a big, cute kitty and tried to make friends but got rudely rejected.
OMG did he stink! My wife bathed him several times with vinegar and it helped. But he still stank for a few days. LOL
