Like paul said he hopes at the end of his life he doesn't lose it also Christ can turn his back to you after death. Confessing Christ as Lord once in life doesn't save you, you then must work out your faith and abstain from Sin.

@Tomisworthless I disagree with you because if putting your faith and anything besides the Lord Jesus Christ you're putting your faith in your performance and your efforts. That's why it says we are saved by grace through faith and it's not of ourselves less no man can boast that means there is no bragging in heaven saying I was a better Christian than you I abstained from sin more than you there's going to be none of that. You're either covered by the blood of Christ or you're not. When Moses LED Israel out of Egypt before the death angel came got instructed him to put the blood of the Lamb over the doorpost when the Angel of death came he was only permitted to look for the blood he was not permitted to peek in the windows and say well you're doing good but you're slacking. No it was all about did he see the blood or not. That was foreshadowing to Christ. The jailer asked Paul and Silas serves what must I do to be saved? They replied believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and you shall be saved you and your whole household. that was the end of their answer they did not give a long checklist of like well you got to start there and do all these other things and refrain from sinning. The answer was short and direct to the point believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and you shall be saved. Another passage says people will be saved just by calling on the name of the Lord because when they're calling on his name they are acknowledging him they are acknowledging and saying I believe you are who you said you was. That is salvation my friend now rewards is a different story will be rewarded but that has nothing to do with salvation. According to your logic Paul might be in hell right now because even though he was saved obviously as he was writing the scriptures he was sharing his struggle with sin and how he does the things that he does not want to do and he doesn't do the things he wants to do

@Tomisworthless once you believe on Christ as your savior there is nothing on this planet you can do to go to the lake of fire. He promised us eternal life, and he meant to keep his promise and will. Once you believe that him dying on the cross was enough to pay for your sins, your his child forever. It doesn't matter all the bad you do, he payed for it all on the cross of calvary. When your given a gift, do you have to do something for it? If you did, was it really a gift, or a reward rather? If that gift was ever taken from you after you accepted it, was it really a gift and eternal? No, Christ never lies and he promised eternal life

Did you know Paul, David, Solomon, And so many other people who committed previous sins went to heaven, and they were some pretty bad sinners. David, commited adultery, then had the girl he committed adultery withs husband killed. He went to heaven. We shouldn't sin to live a good life here on earth. But just because we sin were still God's child. It's like your parents. Is there anything you can do to stop being theirs? Nope. Even if you do the worst sin. Have you heard of the story of the prodigal son? It's the perfect picture of salvation and how Christ is with us

@Tomisworthless that's true it says that narrow is the gate that leads to eternal life and few will find it and broad and wide is the path to destruction and many will find it but Jesus is referring to himself he is the gate but many people will refuse to be leaving him. I've been witnessing to a friend from high school for 30 years but he still refuses to believe it saddens me to know that if he doesn't change before he dies then he will go to hell

@Tomisworthless look at it this way once you believe in Jesus just like Romans chapter 10 verse 9 says if you confess with your mouth Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead YOU WILL BE SAVED. At that point you become a child of God. Look at it this way a man takes his kids to the mall one kid misbehave really badly when it's time to go home is that Dad going to say you're not my kid anymore I'm leaving you here and then just take the other kids? It's kind of like that once you become a child of God when you sin again you're still a child of God. We will misbehave as long as we're stuck in this corrupt body. But you're still saved you're still a child of God

The internet and entertainment, sports, good food, healthy food, supplements, the support I get, my new apartment that I'm moving into, my current job and the people there :)

I'll stop there. Right now I'm having a bit of a rough time with my girlfriend and with moving but there's still a lot of good things :) I'm sure I feel better once I've settled in a bit and I'm not stressed out anymore.

I gave it a chance for 10 years, as I expected, it only gets worse. My liver is heavily scarred and cirrhosis has set in. Hopefully it won't be long, I'm hoping I'll at least die before summer has a chance to get any worse

No, I can't feel joy or anything, and there's no line of work that interests me, or would allow me to live on my own. Even if there was, I'd feel the same. So I'm using alcohol to make my liver fail, and I've made good progress with all of the liver damage I've caused so far. Hopefully it won't take much longer
