This is because I had cataracts surgery 6 years ago. That surgery eliminates your ability to focus your eyes up close, so having a magnifier handy is helpful for reading labels or fine print. I realize now that I can do the same thing with my phone's camera and zooming, but the magnifier is good none the less and often better.

Interesting, I'm kind of the same. I would think antibacterial wipes would be better since a handkerchief would get dirty.

@PeachyPie93 exactly, but that's the funny thing about phobias and fixations... antibacterial wipes are usually humid, and those make me feel way more wary than a regular napkin for example, lmao

so, I mostly do it for my piece of mind... I just do not want to touch certain things, skin first... lol
