Try it. It isnโt a problem. Get a Harryโs razor but for me any semi-sharp razor works. I moved away from shaving cream when someone at work told me if I shaved in a hot shower I would never go back to cream. They were right. Dry shaving came after that and it isnโt a problem.

m 1 yI usually do it, right after shower and that's enough...
that's quite the blade on that razor, though...
personally, I've never had skin issues like a rash or cut or stuff like that212 Reply
Asker1 yWith just water? Shaving cream is the shit, you sleeping on that smoothness

I get the same results with or without
however, I don't let my beard grow that much either, so that's why...
if there's a stubble then yeah, a more proper method goes in effect, lol
Asker1 yWhat about ingrown hairs, are those the same? Lol

1 yYes but only once, I have sensitive skin and it got very irritated and sore, wouldn't do it again, I'd rather have prickly legs for a day than red sore razor bumps 💀

Asker1 yWell Kimmy you've made a good call here, your skin sounds very sensitive but maybe it's an allergy to the metal by itself? ๐คท๐ฝ
- 1 y
I don't think it was an allergy no it's just rough not using any cream
Asker1 yYea that makes more sense, I was stretching it with my theory ๐
- 1 y
I don't get razor bumps anywhere when I shave properly so it's definitely just the lack of cream
Asker1 yWelp like you said cactus legs is better than razor bumps, is your skin naturally sensitive or did you make it that soft by taking care of it?
- 1 y
I think it's naturally sensitive but I do take the effort to look after it, if I didn't it's be a nightmare ๐
Asker1 yIf you tell me that your skin is as hard as a rock when you don't take care of it Ima be mindblown ๐
- 1 y
No it'd just be bumpy and ugly and dry
Asker1 yWell sounds like your skin in in good hands tho, you don't seem to let it get to that point
- 1 y
Yes I take a lot of time and effort to keep my skin nice and soft ๐
Asker1 yI got a nickname for you, I'ma call you silky Kimmy ๐

Oh gosh, yes, plenty of times when I've run out of shaving cream. It usually makes me itch a little, but a girl gotta do what a girl gotta do. 😆

Asker1 yGreat sponsoring missy you got me convinced with the Gillette Venus now, never heard of it ๐
But ey good thing you got it, no more cutting while shaving, well until you run out of Gillette I suppose ๐

1 yYeah, of course... it works; but doesn't go as well as using shaving foam.
I need shaving foam and Mach3 Razorblades (been using those blades religiously since they came out in 1998) to keep my head bald; every 4-5 days I shave everything off.10 Reply
1 yI can't shave without creams. I can't risk getting cuts.

Asker1 yWell that's understandable, some people take risks from the looks of it but to be fair y'all chicks got more to shave tho.

1 yShaving without anything gives you razor burn.

Asker1 ySo I've heard lol

I know it does. I did that for many years as a teen when I shaved my legs. I'd get razor burn and sometimes cuts. Washing them after showering didn't stop them from doing it so then I'd have to put lotion on them (yes, it stings, but it helps to an extent). I no longer have to suffer that now because of baby oil.
Asker1 yDid the lotion help at least PB? ๐ค
- 1 y
Kind of. But that's only done after showering.
Asker1 yI wouldn't see why you'd do it before showering lol

1 yI used to shave in the shower and never used shaving cream. Now I use a straight razor. With straight razors, you pretty much have to use some kind of soap or lubricant.

1 ysometimes when i'm in a rush, i clear up some beard stubble like that. but mostly i just use a squirt of liquid hand soap and use that as shaving cream xD

and just for clarity cause someone is saying that is psychopathic xD i mean just cleaning the edge of my beard. not a fully dry face shave xD that would indeed be insane.
