I can't use perfume or cologne for that matter. I'm allergic to most fragrances like those, fabreeze, scented candles, etc.

I do use unscented deodorant because I'm not trying to go out smelly or anything lmao

It could be the chemicals, but it's fragrances that close up my throat and make it really hard to breathe until I get away from it.

Lol in my mind? The thing is I don't have a sense of smell as it is, so I never know when it's coming. I don't think that it is psychosomatic. It's not like I can smell a particular smell and trigger a bad response. It just happens when I'm near something scented even if I can't see it and as I said, no sense of smell, so I definitely can't smell it coming either.

Lol more allergic to the fragrances, but I've had to move away from people who wear a lot of scents. Usually, I have someone with me when I'm out, and they can direct me away from the source since they can smell.

Nope, can't smell good foods which is weird cause I'm not a bad cook or anything. I just have to use sights and intuition when I cook.

On the plus side I can't smell bad scents either so changing diapers when my kids were babies was no big deal lol

Apparently, it's called anosmia. And I can't vouch for when I was a baby or toddler, but I have no recollection of ever being able to smell anything.

I also have something called aphantasia, which means I can't picture images in my head.

I can taste for the most part though I'm not sure if my taste of something is what others experience. For example, watermelon tastes very acidic to me and I hate the taste of it. Not a fan of BBQ food either. I can taste stronger tasting foods, like when I get a burger from this place up here I always get ghost pepper cheese so I can taste it.

Mini perfumes are so adorable. I carry the mini version in my purse. Yeah big perfumes last a long time but you can't carry them with you. 😊 I tell myself I don't need to carry a small version because it's an eau de perfume and it'll last all day but it's just too adorable.
