Yeah, I hated that question, too. Like, I'm finishing up 12 years of school, be happy about that!

Just get a generic answer and give it to everyone. They are trying to be interested in your life and encourage you, that's all. You could say, "I'm just enjoying finishing school and we'll see what the future holds" or something like that. Most people won't push past that.

I hate being asked the same question multiple times in a row by the same person. It's like, "Per the last five times I answered your question...". :D

I think just being challenged or questioned in general about things that really aren't up for debate bothers me. I don't enjoy political conversations anymore specifically because of this kind of behavior. Same kind of thing with everything Covid. Just this constant, shit-eating defiance. I didn't get married until I was 38... much older than all my other cousins on my mother's side of the family. So, before I got married, I am sure that was noted and maybe even some suspected I might have been gay. (Ironically, I do have a very gay cousin on my mother's side.) I just didn't date much and went long spans without a girlfriend. One reason was that I was in college for a very long time - over a decade.
