But was not aware of this fact amongst common people.

Until a person just enlightened me.

Unfortunately, it's true. I'm a left-wing person, so I try to be friendly to everyone, but even I have a little bit of prejudice against Indians, it's a cultural thing. Especially Generation Z Italians are extremely prejudiced against Indians, not all of them, but most of them. The average Italian knows about Indians (rightly or wrongly): people shitting in the streets, people worshiping cows, bathing in the unhygienic Gani river, gang rape, Eating in the toilet, unhygienic street food, etc I hope one day both Italian and Indian societies can overcome these problems. 🇮🇹🇮🇳
