What do you dream about having/doing and why

The only dream I have is to finish my studies and to get my degree. Nothing more, nothing less. However, I am a realistic person and I know that dreams lead nowhere so my aim in life is more of target to reach, a goal, an aim.

I keep my dreams for when I am asleep because I am aware that they never materialize. A dream is more of an illusion than anything else.

As for my dreams I have when sleeping, I tend not to remember them because I seem to have them before my sleep cycle is complete and the brain does not retain those dreams.

The majority of my sleeping dreams/nightmares in recent years involve tornados.

My waking dream for many years was to reside for my remaining years on a rural bit of land situated on my favorite Ozark stream, close to a good fishing lake, with a house and outbuildings designed by myself, so that no matter what activity I chose to engage in at any moment, everything needed is already there for me to begin enjoying myself, no matter what that might be.

That was a very possible dream to have come true until the maelstrom of 2024 hit myself and my family.

No more dreams for this guy, except for dreaming to soon be released from this mortal coil.

I like to daydream about an ideal world, or a perfect world, the same way people meditate probably thinking of reincarnation in the next life after this life in the far far future 😋✌🏻

I don't dream about anything meaningful, but I have strong ambitions just the same.
