And girls if you want to answer. How often are you told to smile more?

Dumbfounded or insulted, bc I DO smile! Often! What do they not think my smile is good enough? Fuck them! 😃
I did get told to smile several times in my life, Def more often when I dress very feminine. Still not very often tho cuz as I said I do smile & have a happy/neutral resting face.
I hear ya goldfish π - look I'm often smiley myself without it being in the levels of the guy from Green Goblin lol - people at least can't say I'm looking frowning / mad inside hahaha π€£ I'm happy π see I'm smiling π
Tell them to find their own damn business. I donβt own anyone any courtesy.

If that is a byproduct of positive psychology, then positive psychology can positively go to hell, I don't trust that fake school lol
If that is a cultural thing, then it's called toxic positive, and it can go to hell too, I also don't trust feelings repression to do any good to anyone
I voted annoyed, okay? 😠
A little insulted and dumbfounded - I'm often showing in happy - 😁 most jobs also say smile even if you feel happy or don't feel happy - it's a job req. Lol
Same could be said for society - smile and wave as the penguins do lol in that film about penguins lol 😆 🐧 👋🏻
If every woman told me that, I'd assume I have resting bitch face and be a little more aware of it. I try to keep a softer face when I'm out in public though, so I don't look scary. Being a bigger guy, and all.
That's never happened to me so I don't know how I'd react but I don't think I'd change my behavior like that :)
Probably annoyed as I am almost always smiling.
I'd tell them to give me a really good reason to smile more
It's misogynistic BS.
