What works for you when it comes to saving money?

I need some different strategies to use because at this point everything costs money. Like I go for a drive and that's half a tank, if I want to use any apps its like I can use 1/4 of the features then I have to pay, significant others cost, etc. My goal is to move out by 24-25 and seems like I am running in place.

Before buying anything ask yourself do I really need it.
If you do really need it, buy the best quality you can afford for your needs. Remember buy cheap, buy twice.
Look at where your money's disappearing but you've nothing to show for it.
Have a percentage of your wage go directly into a savings account not your regular bank account, you probably won't miss 10%
