Would it bother you if people were giggling about you?

Not like laughing in your face or anything but say like your at a store and buy something random like a glitter pen or lube. Or a violent video game or something and you hear some associates in another aisle not talking about you specifically not like pointing you out but maybe saying stuff like id never buy a glitter pen personally or I wouldn't play a the physical game id just download it. Or id be to embarrassed to buy lube in public. Or maybe they crack a few jokes again not talking about you or your appearance other than maybe oh yah i sold a glitter pen to some guy earlier today.

Would that bother you and why?

I have had it happen to me personally and I can't say it bothers me I typically find it funny fuck I have had some say it to my face like oh I don't like that video game I think it's trashy I prefer this game. I don't find it insulting just stating a opinion. I have never personally cared if someone made fun of me I figured if it gave them a giggle then I made there day just a little bit better.

But my mom on the other hand she will start screaming and demanding management or trys to get them fired.

But maybe I'm just not as sensitive if it bothers you can you explain why just because I don't understand it because it's never bothered me
