I was friends with two guys in grammar school who were twins. They weren't identical but they shared some physical traits.

My dad was friends with a guy who had identical twin daughters who were airline stewardesses. I met them once when I was a kid. They had blonde hair and were beautiful. They dressed the same and everything. I understand that they were very, very close.
One of them got killed somehow, maybe in a car accident. I don't now the story. I heard that the surviving one went into deep depression for a long time. I don't know what happened after that.

I used to go to a BBQ restaurant called Loves before the chain closed. At one time there was a pair of identical twins who worked there. They were tall and really pretty. You couldn't even tell them apart.

A friend of mine who I met in 9th grade and played music with for years has a twin sister. They look nothing alike. He's a goof ball with rusty-colored hair. She's about his height but has straight, almost platinum-blonde hair and is an absolute knock out. I only met her a couple of times.

Definitely. I think I can remember at least three pairs of twins I went to school with, and then in college I worked with a couple. I worked with a another brother and sister set of fraternal twins, too, but I’m guessing you’re talking identical. Oh, and I think two of my friends have twin kids now, as well. Met them at least once each, so they count, haha.

But yeah, I’ve encountered a good amount. It’s funny how some really lean into the identical thing and deliberately match, or like a couple pairs of twin girls I’ve known, they’d wear the same thing, or it coordinated, like the same thing except one’s outfit was pink, and the other’s was purple; and then other twins go out of their way to look different from each other, haha

I had a set two years ago. One boy in my class… the other brother in another class.
I also grew up with a set of twin girls. I was closer to the younger twin sister … by college, the older one was dating our mutual friend … somehow they didn’t work out… the guy started to date the younger sister… then got married… the older twin was not happy for many yrs… I don’t know what happened to them since then… really don’t want to be too close to such family drama.

no, but when I was in my psychology studies, we read about such situations, there was research on the psychological condition of prisoners, whether their twin was in the same place or in different... and if the general psychological condition of the prisoner made a difference...

I am a twin. I have seen lots of them. I had two guys that lived in my dorm freshman year. They were roommates too. I used to see them in the bathroom sometimes but never saw them both at the same time until much later on. I always thought that they were the same guy.
My best friend had two older sisters that were identical twins. I had the biggest crush on one of them. Iwould not look twice at the other one.

@sawno No, but my old girlfriend had twin brothers. They both went to the same college and majored in the same thing. One got a job at Boeing and he got his brother a job in the same department. One of these guys got married and the other married his wife's best friend. These two guys did have some kind of connection that could not be explained.

I experienced the connection with a past lover so I know what its like to some degree although I do expect it to be experienced differently for different people. Its not exclusive to twins, but people your aligned with so to speak.

In the past when we were kids and we spent a long time around each other I could easily tell because there are minor differences and they were more noticeable back then , but now that I see them once in a blue moon, I have to look at them for a bit longer to make sure that I am not talking to the wrong person 😅

There are some minor differences but I can mostly tell from the eyes, smile and other facial expressions. I do not think I have ever confused them even though they look identical to others lol.

i've known unidentical twins, had a pair in my class. for 'real' twins there was a pair at one of the schools i've been to and i think i've seen some at other points in my life but i dont remember exactly
