Absolutely, it works. I know this girl who wanted to marry this guy but he'd never pop the questions. So she stuck some voodoo pins in his condoms said a spell and a few days she magically fell pregnant and got herself a husband. Science can't explain everything so it must be true.

Or to give meaning to the apparent meaningless state of the universe. So if meaning has to be located in a metaphysical plane, no problem, we are creative, we will find meaning, anywhere !

Also, some traditions "help us" to find, early on, a deeper meaning, without thinking too hard. Ofc this predetermined meaning will vary depending on the location where we've been raised. Some locations glorify needles, some locations glorify even bigger needles...

I dont believe in vodoo. I wish it would work though. I rather try to stay on the working parts of witchcraft. Growing random plants like Belladonna, Lilly of the valley, Mandrake, mistletoe (european), foxglove. I trust their magic if I ever need it.
