What a graveyard for sad, desperate people this site has become. Is it possible to implement a feature that removes low quality posts?

I mean wow! It's probably been about 3 years since I've been on here and honestly it was bad then, but the content quality has plummeted to never before seen depths as of late. Questions lacking in... well everything should be removed. Reddit has many subreddits with this feature and I think it keeps the quality up.

It seems like the men on here misunderstood my post and are offended since they themselves post sad and desperate content. What I mean is posts like this: "guys, does this girl like me who never speak to me and flipped me off other day I think she may like me guys be honest do you think one day we will get married will anyone here message me if u want boyfriend"

The people with questions you call "desperate" is obviously the #1 purpose the site was made, hence the name.

And we've had janitors for a long time, but most of them including multiple who posted opinioms underneath this question have lost the moderator badge because they kept reporting/hiding high quality posts. Reddit filters suck ass, they also remove thought-provoking content and allow people to get scammed all the time. Aside from the lefty circle jerk degeneracy far more annoying than the occasional clueless people here (which some subreddits are dedicated to).

By the way, on here you can block topics, such as "flirting" and "girls/guys behavior" the same way you would block a subreddit. ﾠ

I actually lost both my moderator's and Influencer's badges because I dared to confront an Administrator who themselves had posted an extremely offensive, derogatory and defamatory question... It's strange to think how there's one rule for them, and one rule for us.

@Nikki1989 @emmamary I noticed since about 1 year ago, some of my opinions get removed in 1 second after posting them. Complete with 7 points removed. Surely some degree of AI censorship like on reddit has been in use. Maybe the admins are so cheap they want to switch fully in order to stop handing out 4 monthly $25 amazon giftcards to moderators and influencers.

I think some of these questions are genuine, some are trolling, others are just what you said. My answer is depending on what context they give I’ll answer if I think someone likes them or not. But it’s hard to know since everyone is different.

This site has been bad and unfortunately it runs off a lot of people. I see questions from girls angry too “why doesn’t he approach me” and then get angry when I give them my honest opinion that. He has no obligation to approach you. Maybe he’s not into you or maybe if you would go ask him you would know. Maybe he has a girlfriend. Maybe he doesn’t want to be seen as a creep.

With dudes asking if someone likes them they get mad too when the possibility is that she just isn’t into him. But I tell them to be direct and just ask… Since at least it will give closure.

A lot of people also feel as if the opposite sex owes them something. Which is probably the reason nobody (at least not who they want) wants them.

I see the content all the time. Many times I don’t even answer anymore. Because they want the answer they want to hear. Not the truth… Which results in them getting mad.

People too posting about their current relationship… Then getting mad and arguing.

I am struggling myself with certain attitudes and behaviors but I believe them to be the standard of today's internet culture in general. There is nothing we can do to change that except making our contribution to improve quality by providing quality.
