Trending & News I guess my first question would be. Who are the “Experts “ that are following this bird flu? If they are the same people who were on top of Covid. I would have some doubts on their credibility. Unless it comes out that they developed this strain.
Get your rest. Stay healthy and avoid crowds!
This is news to me. My wife has about a dozen bird feeders in the yard. Maybe we should stop putting bird seed in them.

I wouldn't take any chances! And please remember to wash your hands like there's no tomorrow!
I have roosters and chickens running around right below my patio that belong to the neighbors behind me.
Honestly I saw chickens running around like my neighbors chickens do on the news as we were just finding out about the bird flu a few weeks ago.
I'm even afraid to be around them!
I have to go to the doctor tomorrow and I don't want to because there's about 7-8 different viruses and flu's going around. I am going to dig out my masks 😷 I still have from COVID days.
@exitseven
You and your sweet wife need to buy some things to build up your immune system sounds like.
I don't know if you are anti-mask or not but I am going to wear mine.
When I became very sick 🤢 in 2000 and was bedridden for 16 years I didn't know what made me sick.
But I implemented a hard rule that anyone that comes in from outside has to wash their hands right away before touching anything.
Please remember to not touch your face either okay?😷 I don't want you sick 7.

The cure for the bird flu is to stop watching the news.
I think it could get much worse. Watch the mutations.
that was already a thing before 2020 (getting close to a decade ago now), and was also reffered to as "the avian flu".
The number of infections in so many species provides the opportunity for the virus to potentially adapt and more efficiently spread among humans. The CDC has only detected 61 human cases since the start of the H5N1 outbreak. Although the risk of an avian influenza pandemic is very low, I will never say never. Dec 20, 2024
Well I'm SURR it hasn't anything to do with Trump winning the election! 🙄
@sage2021 its not something new, many people died from bird flu in past.
"Avian influenza A (H5N1)," "bird flu," and "H5N1 bird flu" all refer to an illness caused by influenza type A viruses, which primarily affect birds. H5N1 bird flu was first identified in geese in China in 1996 and in people in Hong Kong the following year. Almost 25 years later, in 2020, a new variant of H5N1, referred to as Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI), was detected in wild birds in Europe; it was first seen in birds in the U. S. and Canada in late 2021, and has since been detected in a variety of wild bird species in all 50 states.
only part of the article. GaG would not let me post the link to the article.
I had heard about someone with that bird flu. I was unaware of anyone dying from it though.
