Thereq was a guy I had on Instagram for almost two years. During that time, he would occasionally send me messages with the usual conversation starters, but I never replied to him.

In February, my dad started doing business with this guy, and that’s when he found out I was my dad’s daughter. In March, he sent a marriage proposal through his family. However, I didn’t like him, so I said no. He was persistent, though, so I blocked him on Instagram, thinking he’d get the hint.

Even after that, in April, he sent the proposal again. Around the same time, his younger brother sent me a follow request on Instagram. I didn’t accept it because I thought it would be weird to follow the younger brother while having blocked the older one.
