If you wet the bed after normal age- when did it stop?

I never wet the bed, but i had a friend who DID.
She wet the bed well into her elementary school years, and sometimes even in adult hood. After years of doctors, she finally went to therapy. It turns out she was actually wetting the bed due to a childhood trauma she experienced, and bed-wetting (past toddler / age 5) is a HUGE indicator the child is mentally suffering.

I found this out as I hosted a slumber party in my mid 20s, and let her lay in my bed. She asked me for a Maxi pad, and I offered her PJ pants, since she was just in her night gown, (pants to help pad stay in place better and so there wouldn't be that diaper sound) since there were 3 other gals over.
She explained she didn't have her period, and then went to bed.
I was like?

I asked her once, when it was just me and her, about why she wore a maxi pad if she didn't need it, and she explained she has C-PTSD from childhood. She was very new to therapy at the time, but had already received a diagnosis. She said it was really hard emotionally to talk about her childhood scars, and the trauma she went through, since she suppressed it for so long, and it turned into a bed wetting habit into her early teens, and even mid teens, until she started using maxi pads to curve the bed wetting.

I wouldn't judge anyone for wetting the bed. I did once in my adult life, at age 29, bec i had a severe bladder infection that I mistook as cramps, and i could not retain my urine.
My dad had urinary incontinence when he turned 63, began with small drips and puddles, then turned into needing waterproof bed liners.

Be it medical, age, or unknown, bed wetting should be taken seriously, could be something impactful!

I can't remember ever wetting the bed.

I assure you if you wet the bed past the normal age say four or five you would probably remember. I was a chronic bedwetter until I was 11 and started going through puberty.
