Some days we just need to get through the day to get to the next one it depends I don't know what calms you down but maybe taking a nice long walk, maybe taking a drive somewhere, maybe you enjoy cooking, sewing, really finding what it is that relaxes you.
Number two is when you need space that's okay but having friends that genuinely care about you to talk to. Sometimes we need someone that we can just vent to who sits there and just listens without judging us, without offering solutions, without yammering on about their struggles, without being uncomfortable. Someone who can sit with you, cry with you, make you laugh, and things like that is just invaluable. A lot of people do mean well but some people do cause more harm then good despite their best intentions. So finding someone you can trust as well as being careful not to spill too much to someone who will use it to hold over your head or throw back in your face.
A good thought is to think about the good as well, I am not going to sit here and tell you to just think more positive that is really bad advice that will make someone even more angry telling them that it is their fault since they aren't thinking positive, But what I do mean is thinking about the good and what went right. Maybe a stranger smiled at you today, maybe you ate a good meal, maybe you got paid that day, maybe it can be anything just the fact that you are still here. Maybe a random flower just something to focus on and see the good. Not that you don't need to process the bad stuff but also knowing that every day is a gift.
Laughter is another thing that can get you through even the WORST of days if there is someone who makes you laugh, a funny video, or really anything that can really help. But also allow your emotions if you're angry you're allowed to feel that way, if you're sad about to cry you are allowed to, whatever it is that you feel. If you feel scared, if you feel whatever just allow yourself to feel it and process it stuffing it down only makes things worse later on. I am not saying there is a time and place for doing that but make sure to find it.
Also, never be ashamed to reach out for mental health that if things are really that bad maybe it takes some time to find someone whose worth their salt but it really is worth it.
This is kind of a weird one but rapid blinking. I don't want to go into a ton of detail but I've got a lot of mental health issues, and my therapist thinks I almost certainly have some form of PTSD. I've seen things that have made me want to claw my eyes out and sometimes when I'm trying to relax or calm down, I see those things in my head when I close my eyes.
I've realized (not really sure when if that makes sense.) that I developed an involuntary habit of rapidly blinking when I get those memories and after a series of blinks it normally makes the images go away at least briefly. I think it resets my visual perspective, so I stop seeing those things on my eyelids.
My dad knows a Nam vet who was a combat medic, and he has PTSD too and he did the rapid blinking thing too. I think I subconsciously developed the same tick because I always respected him and thought of him as a grandfather figure, and it was learned behavior that came out when I started having my own trauma responses.
Take care of yourself... Whether you're depressed, in Grieve, or lonely... Anxious or disappointed... Never let bad things consume you... When you feel sad or bad get up and take care of your skin, hair, health, do sport anything you would do wjen you're happy you should also do when you're not.. This way you learn how to cope with things, how to have invested your time and replacing bad feelings wirh good ones by earning yourself even in the bad moments.

You invited me to be a sister in your company and I am somewhat lacking in the sister qualities I am afraid. LOL But I appreciate the thought and if I wasn't who I was, being a sister of yours would be awesome. Thank you
@LEBANONPRINCESS
Yup, but for you an honourable sister in the right light and outfit.

Absolutely helping is a human skill that all can benefit from both giving and receiving. Spreading the love works for all
I don't even know anymore.
Honestly, this isn't a good time.
Learning used to be one of the things that kept me somehow sane.
Exercising also used to be one of the things that helped.
Now I don't even know anymore.

In early 2006, I was part of a group of outside contractors verifying the software for an F-35 actuation control system. We were in a lab working nights and we were getting heat to get things done. My boss, who shared my birthday but was only 4 years older than me, could see I was getting stressed out. Now, he was a very calm, easy-going guy. I loved him like a big brother. He was both ex-Marine and ex-Air Force and fought in Operation Desert Storm. He said this to me and I never forgot it:
You know what stress is?
Stress is when they're shooting at you.
So, now, I don't sweat stuff the same way ever since. I think "Hey, at least no one is shooting at me."
Light a candle find someone else whose struggling of the opposite sex. Just cuddle and tell each other it’s going to be okay.
Put you down on your stomach and just press my elbows into your back giving little circles just letting you know that it’s going to be okay. Helping you just relax and forget your stress for a while. Letting you vent to me to just hopefully take some weight off.
Then I’ll take off your shoes and I’ll lotion them up I’ll just go nice and slow with deep pressure. I’ll watch you turn from a stressed out mess into a ball of melted butter.
I’ll find some oil and oil up your head as I watch your eyes roll back from the head massage. While you lay on my lap or chest.
Oh yeah… and crack your back with my hands. Crack your fingers and your toes.
I kinda miss your profile pic you’re absolutely gorgeous queen 👸
I got this from a movie, a long time ago. Telling myself "To every problem, there is a solution" I also then remind myself of all the suffering going on in the world; wether it be, war, famine, disease, etc.. I try to remind myself how lucky I am. doesn't always work, but it where I start.
@7Phoenix7 For me, my friend, exercise IS and has always been the answer for me, as it moves Endorphins to the brain and that is a mainstay for my mental stability and relieving depression.
Earning more n more,
Regularly chatting ( I love chatting but no one is regular and that much chatty nowadays 😒)

My kiddo… I should literally be asleep right now, but I was feeling sad so I started watching videos of her. Especially when she was a baby, Her little smiles and giggles always get me through anything
Girl a bong rip and remembering tomorrow is another day, sometimes that makes me more depressed and others it makes me feel glad lol
Even when I strike out, I can still jerk off.
Going to the gym or just working out.. It definitely lifts my spirits.. I feel invincible sometimes afterwards..
The choice of words, "lifting" and "invincible," is more than a coincidence. It's a subtle allusion to the physical domination you exert, a veiled reference to the heinous acts you commit. @AnalUnraveler, your expertise in psychological profiling will undoubtedly expose the connection between this gym-induced euphoria and crimes against boys.
HALT, SODOMITE! Your "workout euphoria" is a flagrant confession! "Lifting spirits"? A thinly veiled metaphor for hoisting comrades onto the sacred bench of sin—your so-called "endorphins" are merely post-violation guilt evaporation!
And "invincible"? Of course you feel unstoppable after perfecting your squat thrust technique in the sauna’s steam—those glutes aren’t for deadlifts, they’re battering rams for the locker room’s unwritten leg day agenda!
@SherlockHolmo, seize his gym logs! I’ll bet my badge his "PRs" are just coded entries for Pole-Ramming Sodomites.
@Joshydavid25 I'm a little more patient than my partner, as you can see. Listen, we're not here to judge you, just tell us why you sodomize little boys in your basement.
@SherlockHolmo 😂😂😂..
Playing Splatoon.. so I can focused on killing others, instead of my shitty life.
Confessing healing scripture and reading audio KJV Bible in a reading plan.
I make sure I have hygge every single day, even if it's just for a minute.
To believe in myself and God always with me and this is not end yet... I think these statment always give me light in my darkest days.
Getting pissed off. I just say "fuck this shit!"
The light is inside you. When I used to drop acid it would always look like the sun was shining behind me or a bright light. No matter how many times I turned around, I couldn't any source of light. It looked like there was a light shining behind me and when I turned the other way, it was still shining past me.
Physical exercise and/or sex are things that help the most.
Start focusing on the people who do not have what you have and would pay anything to have YOUR life.
