What's your "magical power"/special gift?

It can be anything that you find you're exceptional at doing. I recently noticed mine... I don't even know where or when I picked it up. Thinking back to my childhood I had this ability to craft and tell stories that draw people in and keep them reading. WHY? I don't know. HOW? I don't know. A few teachers tried to wreck the original instinct with their rigid formats, but the natural sense of "wordsmithing" somehow regenerated and here I am.

So, Guys and Gals... What's YOUR "magic power" (or special gift)?

Nothing magical or exceptional about, but I'm both physically and musically talented.

I was able to play music on the piano by ear from when I was very young. I'm extremely good at memorizing melodies and and specific notes. I can whistle a song pretty damn accurately after hearing it once to the point that impresses most people that happen to hear me. Conversely, I can't remember lyrics to songs for my life. I can listen to a song 100 times and only really remember the chorus. It's interesting my brain processes things that way. It's probably why I'm terrible at remembering names or conversation details with others. Words for some reason just don't click for me.

Then there's the physical talent. Growing up, I always had an above average ability to learn movements that required balance and coordination. In soccer, I was always able to pick up tricks and skills much easier than others. I was always used as example of doing drills correctly even though it was my first time trying them with other kids. I learned how to balance a ball on my head in under 10 minutes. I got the concept of doing keep ups (the act of keeping a soccer ball in the air with only your feet and other body parts other than your arms/hands) much easier than other kids and was able to do an infinite amount of keep ups shortly after. I've never fallen on roller blades, learned how to balance on an indo board in a couple tries while having a medicine ball thrown at me, and have always been the type to test the capabilities of my body (doing human flags, muscle ups, behind-the-back-hand clap pushups, handstand pushups, etc).

I have a great del of endurance. I used to be able to swim the length of an Olympic sized swimming pool both ways under water. When I had my flight physical for the Air Force I had to have a chest X-ray. The doctor came back and told me he wanted to do it again. I was a little freaked out because i thought that maybe hey found something funky. The doctor said that no, it was because my lungs were so big they could not fit on one photographic plate. Maybe that is why I could run marathons at my size.

My mother says I was born 40. To concur and to put it succinctly, my retired former coworker also said I am an "old soul" with insight into how to help people. I know that I'm not always right, but at least I can provide perspective. (I immediately reference Anton Ego's demand from the Disney film Ratatouille to help relate.)

@sawno there was a time in which someone actually sent me a text (they were forced to) that was seemingly normal and regular the usual from any other I would get from them, and I knew them it was theirs

but... it didn't feel quite right, so I did reply with a joke, as I always do, but also did hint, and their response did confirm...

things were not... right

Possibly, I have picked up on energy behind messages before and actually wrote it as my own superpower. Its possible you have the ability of genuinely sensing that kind of energy. If you ever feel what someone close to you feels ask them to think of a specific feeling on purpose. If it works reproducible its confirmed you have that ability. Can't do it with anyone random though.

Apparently I'm really good at learning new things lol. Was playing two new sports with my YG the other night and they were SHOOK at me winning after getting oriented to the game lol

Im a phenomenal cook, I understand most computer languages, I read very fast.. When I say fast, last year alone I read 724 books (I LOVE kindle unlimited). Oh and I love my job.
