Okay, here is something too serious for the context:

Since I'm not personally involved in what seems to be a conversation I have a quite detached view here. Which means it's hard for me to think of it as cute or funny, without relating. I can only see that the intent is to be funny/cute, based on the art style, yet it fails to deliver, subjectively, for the aforementioned reasons. I actually can feel a difference in impact between A and B, because I view A as slightly off-putting, while B not, could be because A reminds me of actual spanking while I see B as something twisting archetypes. In that sense, I can think of B as mildly funny
