Why was there a sizzling sound coming from the passenger side of my car, and some water dripping onto the floor mat?

I have a 2000 Honda crv. The roof leaks a little when it rains on the passenger side when it rains, which it is raining, but the happens on the side where the wondow is. Yesterday I turned the heater on, and I heard a faint sizzling sound, and a little bit of water dripping onto the floor matt from under the dash board. Whats going on?

At least one of the drainage pipes for doors/sunroof is blocked and the water is accumulating in the car. You should bring it to a service station asap.

That would be a leaking heater core and its antifreeze and a shop will charge a arm and a leg to do it

Ok then it could be leak from the outside. the. sizzle noise is weird i would think that would be water hitting something hot

your car needs resealing to be waterproof. the sizzle is water getting where it shouldn't.
