Anonymous(18-24)1 yYes and no. I actually have mixed feelings about it. On one hand, it's the perfect time for outdoor activities, such as swimming, cycling, rowing or kayaking 🛶, spending time in nature and recharging your batteries and letting go of your worries and eating seasonal fruits such as peaches, apricots, melons, watermelons. Honorary mentions go to ice-cream (even though with the inflation its price has skyrocketed in the last few years)..
On the other hand, if you're an adult with no vacation leave, or a broke college student on a tight budget, who has been stuck in the city, with no getaway, or greenery nearby to get a breath of fresh air, it can be hell... Unfortunately where I live, heatwaves have started becoming more and more common in the summer, due to climate change, so summer has become torture for me.. Last year our city broke a record (temperatures didn't drop below 88 F night and averaged 100F at noon for over a month).. The scorching heat drains the energy from you and makes you feel lethargic and constantly tired. At least in the winter you have the option of layering and wearing warm clothes, isothermic jackets, a cute sweater, scarves etc. With the heat there isn't much you can do, other staying inside in places with A/C and wishing it ends soon... Not to mention the hassle of constantly having to apply sunscreen for those of us with pale skin, anti-repellent cream for the mosquitoes and the sweat stickiness.

No although I was born in summer I hate hot weathers and I love cold weathers so it is not something I am looking forward to but it will come there is nothing to do about it. What about you? Are you looking for it?

1 yYup. I don't really do much in winter here physically other than stay in and workout. It's just... draining for me to go out in the cold.
