After having to take my employer to court after 2 years of them ignoring a promise they made me on salary increase with the union being largely to blame for refusing to engage lawyers. Then when it became a dragging pain in the ass the motherfukrs put a replacement boss in who used my case against the company to deny me a proper pay increase using lines like "it's been very difficult to get any idea of your competence" (30 years no complaints and colleagues come to me for support) so I took sick leave for the first time in my career for 3 weeks and told the union to fuk off because they're incompetent and took them to the civil claims court and won 4 times what they owed me. However, the mental fuckery that this caused me made me pick up a rope and walk to a forest and find a tree branch that could hold my weight.
Because it was a public space I stopped because I didn't want the poor sod who found me to have to deal with that in their life and the emergency services who'd have to clean up and tell my wife and family what I'd done. The colleagues, friends and family didn't actually come near the top of my list. Dark days. Asking my wife for help met with the "see a therapist" line which broke me.
Needless, to say I'm still here. For now and hopefully getting tf out of this country and somewhere new will give me a chance to reset and get my shit together.
How did I get here. Wife gave me advice that kinda worked but I found that therapists are all women and didn't get it. I'd been to a GP doctor who was mentoring another immigrant doc (both were middle eastern) and told them of my mental health issues and THE 45 minutes with them was the most productive than hours with the paid therapist and counsellors (all women).
Mindfullness training as well has been my go to for settling and retraining my thought processes. Roll on summer 25 when I can find a new start and hopefully regain my mojo after 3 and a half years of torture.
When I saperated my business from my cousins.
*separated.

12 to 16 was my low point, but I started working full-time and quickly turned my life around.
Nothing I wanna discuss publicly.
