We had snow on Monday (Sunday night), just a dusting but it accumulated on my car. Some of this week's morning temperatures have been 27, 28, 32, and 24. It has not gone past 41 degrees. Hopwefully summer won't be so muggy and hot.

It's 55 here in SC right now and going to be 63 later on today. Very nice temps for the south. But it's supposed to get up to 85 on Monday. So yeah I would say for where I am it's spring time.

We had snow here a week ago & they are calling for snow again Sunday. This afternoon it is about 18C & sunny here.

Yeah, finally. The nights are still cold with temperatures between 5 and 10 degrees Celsius, but days are now very sunny and between 15 and 20 degrees. 🙂🌞👍

Super HOT , always HOT , but songkran water festival and April / May is SUPER hot , incredible humidity moreso.

Not sure about your own area. Around here (Pattaya or Rayong) they often load a pickup truck with two big water barrels AND ice in it. Add a few half drunk natives to operate the back of the vehicle (often enough, a drunk also drives it in addition). The week ahead is madness on the streets - at least to me, heh heh.
Where the original 'Songkran' idea is actually much more acceptable to me.

We only go one day and much more subdued , but frankly I love it..
If it went 7 days like Pattaya , I would have had enough. Rayong.. dont know how it goes there.
I have a Condo up from Pattaya.. Bang Saray , its all good there ( sleepy coastal )

Sometimes , the nik names for Hua Hin are good and fitting , but region by region.

Rayong is interesting: the Province has organized the street water battles in the districts on different days. So... for a week or so we get soaked in a different village - on the way to work. And back as well :D...
Bang Saray is near me. It's indeed calm and ''normal'' (if 'normal' is applicable for Thailand).

Yes very quiet , but its a lovely small community , I'm sure they are still getting pretty wet.
Last night was big here Soi 94 and the like , so its officially going 3 days this year in Hua Hin.

What job you doing over there?

I work for a local yacht making company. I'm a naval architect/master builder. On a side line, I'm also doing a grandfather job, and kindergarten teacher for the same salary and same company :)

Thailand was an ''accident'' - there was nothing challenging back in Europe 21 years ago, and so I followed a call first to Malaysia, and 8 years ago to Thailand. The rest of the world doesn't look any better - and so I stay ''here'' as long as I'm useful.
