How adorable. Clover loves you. You make her feel safe and secure. And you are warm and snuggly.

When my wife would be sleeping on her side with her legs curled, we had a cat named Rosie who would snuggle up under her butt at the crook of her thighs and knees on chilly nights. When my wife tried to move her legs, she would think she was paralyzed until she realized that the cat was weighing her down.

I sleep on my stomach, and sometimes I would wake up and find Rosie sort of stretched out against the side of my hip and thigh, similar to the way Clover is snuggled against you.

We had another cat named Coco who would creep up as soon as my wife went to bed and lie right on her chest with its nose practically touching hers. It would just gaze adoringly at her and purr. Once my wife fell asleep, Coco would go in her own bed that was on our bed down by the foot between us.

Cats are so cool.

Body heat. I had a cat growing up and she did the same thing for the same reason, except instead of stretching out, she slept in a ball. She purred until she fell asleep, and then she snored.
