Does your, or someone you know, cat like water?

Cats can swim, believe it or not. Some even like playing in a sprinkler. Is your cat one that doesn't mind being around water?

Our cat absolutely hated cold water and rain. But you could bathe him in hot water when he managed to bake himself completely in dirt. I know of a cat who grew up with three dogs and he loved to swim with the dogs.

He probably saw himself as being a dog since he couldn't actually see himself.

I've seen cats waving their tails back and forth, but slowly. I've never seen a cat wag a tail as fast as a dog does. But at least it tried. 😅

Last cat I saw that likes water lives on a compound about half an hour from me

My cats tolerated it when I gave them baths. I only have one cat now

None of the cats i had liked water, but one small kitten swam across the pond. I guess it got lonely.
