All the time lately unfortunately. A group of 5-6 married women have for some reason decided they need to... ? adopt me. They seem personally shaken by the fact that I don't really interact with other people. Because I don't generally like many other people, LOL. I'm an introvert. I don't dislike them but they insist on me joining their group whenever they see me. And they insist on hugs. I told them I'm not really a huggy person unless I know someone really well. I guess they took that as a challenge or they think it's funny to torment me. Now I get hugs when they show up and hugs when they or I leave. I can't get mad at them. But hugging just ain't my thing. What does piss me off is that their "conditioning" of me seems to be working. I'm getting used to them hugging me.

A real hug? At least a few months ago if not a few years ago. The last hug I can REMEMBER getting was from my Aunt about 2:00 into 2020. She died 5 days later. It's possible I got one or two after that but, I just don't remember. I've been completely alone ever since then so, it's VERY likely I DIDN'T ever get one after that. My girlfriend sends them to me over the internet but, that's all I've had in the past 5 years.

  @Dongie True! Thanks!! But, that's just it. I have quite a few online friends or friends that I can call up on the phone but, I DON'T have any friends that live here near me and come over once in a while to just hang out, play cards, shoot the shit, scratch each others' balls, listen to records with, or go places with, etc.. and, it's been like that most of my life.

  Well, they never ASKED ME to pull them off but I would if that's what they wanted.
  Only just before or just after a gig. They all lived 10 to 25 miles from me.

  If you're around about a year plus, I may roll through that area if you're not married by then. My court date is March 9th to settle the suit for getting run over.

  No, I was run over on April 14th, 2023, and I'll be getting reimbursed for what I lost and for the injuries. So I'll have a little bread after I get caught back up.
