So How Do get rid of mice?

I’ve been using traps , and peppermint oil scented.

Get like 20 traps. Do not touch them with your bare hands. Put on some disposable gloves on and keep them on for this whole process. If the mice smell your hands on the traps or bait, they might be wary for a few days and leave it alone. Take an old hand towel, wash cloth, terry cloth, or piece of thick absorbent cloth that has been washed and does not have human scent on it. Cut out pieces of cloth for each mouse trap, just big enough to cover the trigger and hang off the edge of it to give them something to pull on. Take a piece of thin metal wire and tie those cloth pieces to the triggers of the mouse traps. I use the wire twist ties that they have at the grocery store for tying vegetable bags closed. Rub peanut butter well into the cloth with your fingers (while wearing gloves) and don't leave extra that they can lick off. Set the traps and they will die.

Remove the food source, block any entrance holes, put poison in traps. If there's a lot hire a professional exterminator.

Just get a large mouse trap catch it and take it out and dump it outside in your garbage can in a bag and wait for your local community trash to pick it up if you poison the mouse it will crawl off and dye somewhere and smell for days if you can’t find it
