"serious question, not even trying to be condescending here. i've noticed this both online and offline, the moment a guy tries to communicate his emotions in a coherent way, he's either labelled weak or is doing it for a girl. like, why is basic emotional vocabulary seen as a female skill? it’s 2025 and there are still guys who think emotional maturity is the same as being “soft” or “too sensitive” or worse, gay. meanwhile, women are expected to understand trauma, mental health, self-regulation, all while also decoding your two-word texts and emotionally coddling your inner child. cool.
