If you were to bring an animal back to life which one would it be?

I think i had this discussion at some point and the top contender was the wooly Mammoth. Supposedly would help slow the next ice age, create some diverse ecosystems and while other animals like the messenger pigeon? Carrier pigeon? are as good or maybe better for the environment the mammoth has a much higher cool factor. Also helps they'd likely be as smart as elephants which makes them very intelligent.

Aaaand then to be less stereotypical I'll throw in a more personal bias choice and bring back the... such a tough choice, Neanderthals. Bigger, possibly smarter (larger brains) humans that have dense enough muscle to wrestle a tiger. Sounds like fun to me.
