Have you done or gone anywhere fun this summer?

Any trips or special events? Or have you just been relaxing and enjoying the weather?

I've had a few trips including one back home and my family convinced me to go out to cedar point last week.

Living across the pond from You, I have gone to a few places this Summer.

Starting in Linz, Austria, I traveled to Vienna in Austria, Budapest in Hungary, Bulgaria and Romania, 1 mile across from the border to Ukraine to the delta of the Danube river in the Black Sea.

Last weekend, I did travel to Switzerland and went up to a hill, 7000' high (yes, that is a hill in Switzerland).

Later this month, I may travel to Germany and Luxembourg and that will be my final trip for this year. One has to stop sometime to leave something for the coming years.

Oh wow that’s so awesome! Where would you suggest someone go if they came to visit from my side of the pond and had little time?

Depends on what your interests are. Tell me and I will make a few suggestions.

I really like seeing historic sites, particularly cool architecture and art.

OK. The for history and art, the #1 destination is Vienna in Austria. I have been there so many times but still never fed up of it.

Then, #2 is Rome, #3 Budapest, #4 Paris, #5 Istanbul.

I shall limit my selection to those 5 cities. One piece of advice though. Don't go in July-August or in December because of the huge crowds of tourists you will find.

Best time to visit would be May and end of September and October.

A couple fairs and some boat races 🙄 We do have neighborhood cookouts each month, that's always fun. On the 19th, we're going to our annual Brewers game and we're gonna watch them pound the Cubs ⚾💪

I just watch. My boyfriend knows a couple guys that race, they're actually really good but I find it painfully boring. The only nice thing is being by the different lakes, the scenery can be really beautiful.

Yep. Morning to morning. My boyfriend came, along with some extended family for Friday and Saturday. Me and boyfriend stayed each night to…well XD

We had to clean up after the heard left. As I told someone else here. My reward for cleaning was a mini apartment for the night. There is still a no boys allowed in Abby’s room policy at home.
