The only time I sleep with socks on is when I'm in the field and using a sleeping bag. I use a bag liner and wear a clean pair of socks. It's for hygiene and a lot easier than having a down sleeping bag cleaned.

Only if it's really cold outside since my bed is right by the window and the window is by the end of the bed by my feet and sometimes the air is colder in that area so I might be socks on if that's the case.

If it's cold in the winter, I do. I get really cold feet in the winter at home. They are like ice if I don't.
