Trending & News How many multi-language people we got here on GAG?

I know English, Hindi, Odia and a bit of Bengali (Bengali just feels like a mix of Odia and Hindi because all these languages are derived from Sanskrit).
But I personally I'm most confident in English for writing and speaking. I'm confident in speaking Hindi and Odia and I can write and read Hindi in an okayish manner, but I'm not that good in writing and reading Odia, I can only read simple terms and I forgot writing it.
I can only understand a bit of Bengali, nothing more than that. And because I know Hindi well, I can understand many west Indian dialects too.
And I'll learn another language depending upon which university accepts me, if I get into Italian university then I'll learn Italian. If I get into any London university then I'll sharpen my British English skills because I can only understand Indian English and American English because of easy accent.
I know some French, but mainly because it’s a Canadian thing. It’s similar to how Americans also know a bit of Spanish with their English.

I grew up knowing only Spanish up until the time I started school. It was my first language. I remember telling my mother I was worried about not knowing English for school before then. But I soaked it up like s sponge, especially with my friends, when I was about 7. I can understand a little French but I'm not fluent.
Fluent: Icelandic, Danish, English
Can get by in: Faroese and Norwegian

@misterpandemonium
I'm Icelandic, living in Denmark - English is taught in both countries + media. Faroese, one of my best friends from there and relates to Icelandic + danish quite the bit, takes some time to adjust but manageable, and lived in Norway briefly. Also can babble in Bosnian due to my partner but not enough that I can mention as speaking it.
I'm fluent in Dutch and English. I do understand German and can have a very basic conversation in German. And I guess the same for Afrikaans? The language is pretty similar so I can understand everything.
Why Persian (Farsi) is not on the list nor the picture?

I know enough German to pass a citizenship test, but I wouldn't call myself fluent. (Voted German, anyway.)
My first languages are French and Flemish. English is my third language, and I've also good basics of German, and a few notions of some other languages.
I speak mostly American and a small amount of the kings English. Also very fluent in sarcasm and codes.
