Chalk it up as a learning experience. It could have been much worse.

I have a friend that gambles. When he wins, he sets aside a portion of the winnings to cover the cost of his trip (to the casino). If you're sports betting or similar, put away half and have fun with the rest. You will lose it. These companies aren't around because people win in the long term.

Adding some discipline will let you enjoy it while keeping you from getting out of control and losing your car, your house, your relationships...

It’s a solid reason to hate gambling now, thankfully you came out on break even, to cope with this try a lesser amount, if you won resist gambling for more, if you lost again you have your sign to ditch this forever
