But I recently tore my ACL and will be operated soon so I don’t have the ability to go out and fully enjoy myself

A vacation is definitely a need in my book. We all need one from time to rest, recharge, and rejuvenate every now and then. 😊

Been there. Big piece of advice if you think you might end up running out. Wear one at a time. It's easier to get used to than it sounds. I had to go to the hospital with a fake name once because I was trying to stretch my contacts for too long and paid the price.

That’s with soft lenses, right? Why not buy hard lenses and then be set for the next three to four years?

@DryGermanGuy I was under the impression soft lenses are better because they let more oxygen hit your eye which it needs so the blood vessels don't die or something

It's the exact opposite, actually. The sheer size difference of the lenses hints at that.
