I'll never forget how freeing it felt to be there!

The most memorable experience in my life is also a travel experience.
My granddad was an airline pilot before he retired from a major airline in 2018 and as such, he could take family members on so-called "free passes", meaning that family members could travel on free or reduced fare tickets.
I often accompanied him on shorter trips throughout Europe but also on long haul flights to Asia and the US or Canada.
At times when all seats were taken by paying passengers, I had the opportunity to fly in the cockpit on what is called a "jump seat", which is a seat that folds to allow an observer or extra crew to sit in the cockpit.
I have so many memories, some fun and others less but I would not miss those experiences for anything in the world as they have given me insights on other cultures.
Always have loved my family’s place down in FL. Having just got back from spring break, miss it already.
Yeah I lived in Florida for 4 years, pretty much right up until 2020. It still honestly feels like home to me. I visited recently and yeah, it hit me pretty hard. I don't know what it is…
Wow down in the Keys! Awesome… I’ve been through there. I was living on the Space Coast/the greater Orlando area… I’ve vacationed to my grandparents place in Tampa too, since I was young, so I would take weekend trips all the time to see them when I was living there.
Other than the Keys, I have mostly been down in the Southwest part. Sanibel, Captiva, Marco and such. Only a few times tho. We spend most of our time at the house on Marathon and travel to some of the other Keys for different things.
Just was down there with a group of friends from school for spring break. Drove up to Key Largo to launch our skis to go see Christ of the Abyss.
Naturally, been to Disney but that is about it for the Orlando area. We take the Amtrak Auto Train to right outside Orlando so we have our car down there.
Have you ever been to a place called Robbie’s (I think…?) I remember stopping there for lunch when I was traveling down to Key West with friends… Very cool little spot.
I think the biggest thing I miss is the people… everyone was so nice and chill… Just such an easygoing way of life down there, everyone is just out to have a good time. And there’s always something to do and places to go.

I don’t think it was one perfect moment, but rather the times when I felt truly at peace when everything felt simple, real, and I didn’t have to question where I stood with someone.
Those quiet, genuine moments tend to stay with me more than anything loud or extraordinary.
I'll still never forget going to Trinidad &Tobago with family. All my cousins on my mom's side came and we beach hopped a ton, traveling in the back of a pickup truck, singing songs and making beats together. Those were some of the best times in my life and made my childhood.
Did LA a couple of years ago. It was ok. The people peeing on the street and blight in the subways kind of made it so-so.
I enjoyed the San Diego part of the trip much better. Solana Beach.
Best time?
Honeymoon in Jamaica.
A large church group trip to Chicago and to Pigeon Forge were a close 2nd.
Hard to say my wedding was awesome.
Wedding night was not so awesome, I was like what is all the fuss about, then about a year later I was pregnant and I knew what the fuss was about. So good.
Being pregnant was an amazing experience, the birth not so much but holding my baby I just can't describe.
This is a cool response, but you seem really young to have experienced all that. Are you happy?
@WhitneySnow very happy.
Wonderful!!! Hope you guys have an amazing life.
@WhitneySnow well thank you.
@Simslover92 When are you coming back?
Same here, living here was the best move I ever made.
Whenever I get enough money to come back. I hope that will be sometime soon. We'll see.
Being there when my daughter was born. Nothing prepares you for such an experience.
This wonderful date I was on.
He had a boat and as we were at the harbor in Long Beach, California he drove his boat to the dock and the most lovely restaurant was there. We had a delicious breakfast together.
After that we went boating the rest of the day in the Pacific Ocean and he went skiing. My job was to watch out for him and let him know if anything was going wrong.
We had an absolute blast together that day.
My marriage. The last 16 years have been sheer joy.
Lucky girl!
I have had many great experiences and I suppose the most memorable was swimming with wild dolphins off the coast of South Africa watching them scoop up sardines in a team effort
Diving in Cozumel, Mexico has to be one of the best. Exciting, interesting, unique. Lovely fish and water.
Had quite a few really good experiences but I'm afraid if I say one I won't have another one so I'm going to say the best one still to come
I’ve had a few and it’s difficult to choose. Hope for many more to come.
Having a loving girlfriend, being in a band, spending a month in Florida, maybe working at Cedar Point one summer.
As I recall, losing my virginity was pretty darned cool.
Cheers!
Many that peak as the best! One in particular was being behind a collab channel on YouTube when my girlfriend at the time joined in. I was still in my prime.
Being the father to my 3 children, now grown up.
It's when i have travelled to Kuwait and lived like a king there for almost a week 😄
Try coming to San diego which is nicer than LA
Before I had my child whose special needs and their issues destroyed my peace, happiness and mental health.
I'm still waiting for best experience of my current life.
The happiear night of my life was doing acid with this amazing woman. We had so much dn fun.
Why not move to LA? Live your dream.
I definitely would if money wasn't an issue and also not wanting to be far away from family. My grandmother is getting older and I want to be there for her before she passes.
Admirable. Still... life is trade offs.
