I want to get rid of everything I don't need. And I find things I need and I write a list. Since a year I cannot remove things from my list. So maybe when I see better times I dont need those things from my list. I will see. You won't take anything with you at the end of your life. So better enjoy your life than safe your money to death.

After my divorce I was left with a TV, mattress and my recliner. That's all I needed and I was happy. I just sold my house and I'm in the process of selling everything in it so I can live 6 months a year living in a different country renting furnished apartments. Everything I own is going to fit in 2 suitcases. The more stuff I get rid of, the happier I am. Stuff doesn't make you happy, having a life does.

I am not a "minimalist" there is a trend, right? I try not to have to much and what I dont need. That's all. I don't want to give things away I need. It is all about kmow yourself and your needs.

Yes I felt better after getting rid of much things I never need, I don't really need... surround me with goods don't make me happy. And I needn't to impress others. A well structured surrounding is more impressive.

Not to let yourself change by having more than your neighbor. That's impressive. Less. things but good things. Not prestigious but useful.
