What is the biggest risk you’ve ever taken, and why did you take it?

I don't think I've ever really taken a big risk.

Being stranded in Miami by myself for 2 days? Maybe. But I always think things through and try to be prepared for all outcomes. Or at the very least find a solution if it goes ape shit

I guess it depends on what kind of risk and consequences... would be considered the "biggest"

I mean, one time I touched a live wire just to "see if" science is actually real, and yeah... I got electrocuted quite nicely, so that did check out

maybe the time when I decided to quit college half-way... because I didn't want to finish a career I really didn't feel like going with but that also meant that I had to start adulting for real real at age 22 and well... that is sometimes a very difficult thing to figure out in this life

or that one specific time in which I was driving off-road with the best car possible for me to be driving off-road and guess what... Free Bird starts playing on the radio so I was like, yeah... we only live once and we're here for good time not a long time, and well... I almost shortened my life spawn almost in half, those damned trees jaywalking out of nowhere...

and there's always those times and situations that can arise when you've lived in Cartel Lands... and that's when "risk" does take a new meaning and level lol

Drink driving. I've been banned now so I'm paying the price but it's really hard not to drink drive cos cab fares are so expensive and public transport can be very long or not run late at night. It's just so tempting to think "just ten/twenty mins" drive is so easy.

I don’t think I’ve taken huge risks. I’d say leaving home and going to school four hours (driving) away maybe. The school has a local campus in my hometown, but I wanted to go to the main campus.

@Abbycado I can appreciate that - however 🏫🎒 I just took a train for a year for a 1 year short course at a city campus. It was probably in size equivalent to your "main campus" you speak of - but no on site living. Surrounding apartment towers, sure. But no dorms. I was disappointed yet glad all I only had to take a 20-30 min train trip daily about 4-5 days a week or so. It was what it was. 😅 I'm just grateful I graduated and unscathed and with minimal debt 👿🙂‍↕️🙏😇 🤏

@Abbycado That said, were I you, I'd have picked (if we're reversing-time here) in your shoes, I'd have picked the local campus in the hometown - sounds closer and easier and "local" - 😁🏠🏡 after all. I'm a homebody. It's okay we're different eye to eye's, Abby 🤭 @Abbycado 😈

Know what is funny? The main campus is massive a huge student population. The local one actually owns more land. So technically, it is bigger. Just not the same experience.

I like the hustle and bustle of this campus. There is always something going on. Being a Big Ten school means big weekends in the fall with games at home more than half the weeeknds.

@Abbycado oh you wouldn't like me then Abby - not am i 32 (an old man to your 21) even as a friend lol, I'm a homebody - trips to "the mall" or trips "on my own day out adventures even to town aka the metropolis 🏙️🌆" - are more my jam. 😝

@Abbycado not a country guy attitude either. I don't believe in farm living - too silent. Yet suburbia - is my paradise 🏞️😁 and the malls or visiting town "sometimes" - by town I do mean skyscrapers - but suburbs are half the bustle, half the silence of farms. So I like my happy place

@Abbycado suburbs are bliss 🙂‍↔️ - until the apartments are creeping in closer and closer ( it's the reality of the future - higher density as they call it living) - hopefully another 10 or 20 years before the suburbs look like just another extension of the cities 🏙️🌆
