But have you ever considered that what we once call the worst moments in our past might actually be the very things that shaped who we are today?
If those things never happened, maybe we wouldn’t become the version of ourselves we are right now.
So, if you truly had the power to turn back time, would you change the story entirely, or would you only try to fix certain mistakes and regrets from your past timeline? And why?
# For me, I don’t think I would change the whole story.
There are things I wish never happened, of course, but I also can’t deny they shaped my perspective and the way I understand people, love, and life.
Some pain made sense only in hindsight.
Maybe I wouldn’t erase the past, but I might soften certain parts of it, not to avoid growth, but to avoid unnecessary loss of myself along the way.
Because in the end, I’m grateful that even the hardest chapters still led me to where I’m supposed to be now.
