What's a mistake that you keep repeating?

I proof read only after submitting and then can't change it anymore. Autocorrect hates me so my posts often contain some words that obviously don't belong there.

It's not limited to online posts... Irl I also like to be direct and say my opinion and only later reflect if it was a good idea instead of doing it before opening my mouth 💩

I'm glad I read this, because honestly, every time I tried to read your answers, I usually gave up at line 3 because speech-to-text produces exactly what you described:

- Punctuation hell
- Typos

So the bottom line, to me, is: It didn't make sense, I give up lol

Lol yeah I do apologize about that because some of my answers are pretty good but I don't punctuate and I don't proofread I just click Send and I know that's a big mistake half the time but one of these days I'll grow up and do it right

In some cases, it's forgetting things. I want to go downstairs and need to refill a water bottle as well as a few other things but take everything BUT the water bottle!!
Most of the mistakes are in typing and I don't understand why.
1. I'll go to write a word that starts with an L but, I start out typing "th". I guess it's because the tongue makes pretty much the same move when pronouncing both so, my head or fingers get confused.
2. If I'm listing a few ideas, I'll use the shortened version of, "second" by typing 2nd but, when I get to 3rd, I'll type out the full word instead of using the shortened version of that!
Most of the rest of the mistakes I make typing are because of the shitty keyboard!!

I keep assuming people told me all the important details when they finish talking and ask for advice.

I forget that I need to ask a million questions so I can make sure it's not a completely different situation from what they let on because, usually it is.

I wouldn't say that it is mistake. Especially the verbal social one. At least it makes you a raw real person to talk to. Not some filtered down NPC.

Personally i don't repeat any mistakes. Sure, i have made tons of different mistakes over the years, but i always correct them going forward.

Yeah, I have been trying to, well I did curb that for a month or two but I'm back to hitting that send button as fast as I can. The most painful was trusting people. I'd take a bearing and swear I'll not trust another then I find myself back in the same situation. I'm probably out 35 or 40k over the past 25 years from trusting family and friends.
