And if you were to argue with a deaf person, does the speed of the sign language speed up?

They only share about 30% of the same vocabulary, sign language isn't simply the translation of a language to signs it is it's own language entirely.

Not necessarily speed up but definitely more dramatic, the same way you'd add some attitude onto your spoken words
